Lift Analysis on the Bow Seal of the Surface Effect Ship Testcraft XR-3.

Abstract

Experimental test runs were conducted to determine lift forces acting on the bow seal of the captured air bubble testcraft, XR-3. These forces, plotted versus turn rate for varying center-of-gravity locations, are presented and analyzed. (Author)
