Auger Spectra of Ammonia on Aluminum and Oxidized Aluminum.

Abstract

X-ray excited N(KVV) Auger spectra are reported for submonolayer amounts of ammonia adsorbed at 128K on clean and oxidized polycrystalline aluminum. The spectra were deconvoluted using an instrument function derived from the measured losses associated with the N(1s) photoionization region. The resulting spectra are compared with gas phase and condensed NH3 spectra. (Author)
