A New Approach to the Design of Highly Efficient Regulated DC-to-DC Converters.

Abstract

This report describes a novel approach to the design of efficient switching regulated dc-to-dc converters whereby an energy storage inductor and a commutating diode are in the output transformer primary circuit of the converter. This design has advantages of simplicity, economy, reliability in applications where high-output voltages, multiple-output voltages, or both are involved. (Author)
