Stability from the Bifurcation Function.

Abstract

This paper contains an extension to C superscript k -vector fields of the classical results of Liapunov on the stability of an equilibrium point in the critical case of one zero root. The transformation theory of Liapunov is not applicable to this case. We exploit fundamental relations from bifurcation theory. (Author)
