Military Decision from the Viewpoint of Game Theory,

Abstract

It is the purpose of this paper to give a simplified explanation of what game theory is, and how it can be applied in its pure form to various military situations. We will then discuss the implications that can be drawn from the theory and show how the line of reasoning it advocates may aid in arriving at sound military decisions.
