DCS Synchronization Subsystem Optimization/Comparison Study.

Abstract

This study develops useful information for the selection, definition, and implementation of a practical synchronization capability for the future Defense Communications System (DCS). Although unique characteristics of the DCS are considered the information developed is of general use. The study evaluates the capability of a number of basic system features singly and in combinations to provide a number of desirable characteristics.
