DYNACYL Predictions of Air Pressure Effects on Electron-Beam IEMP.

Abstract

The DYNACYL computer code has been used to predict the effect of air pressure on the currents and fields inside a right-circular cylinder irradiated on one end with a pulse-electron beam. Description of the incident beam was provided by the Harry Diamond Laboratories and was used to determine the value for the input variables. The results presented in this document will be used by Harry Diamond Laboratories for the Defense Nuclear Agency.
