Multiple Platform Sensor Integration Model: MULSIM Computer Program.

Abstract

The Multiple Platform Sensor Integration Model (MULSIM) simulates the operation of a track management system that is receiving inputs from a large number of widely distributed platform/sensors. The model consists of two basic parts: a stimulator and a track correlation/association module. The stimulator produces noisy detections from an input scenario. The detections from each platform are subjected to a correlation/association process and the detections which associate with existing tracks are integrated with selected detections from other platforms to produce updated position estimates of system tracks.
