Thermodynamics of Organic Compounds

Abstract

Measurements were completed of the enthalpy of combustion of the ramjet fuel RJ-6. Measurements of the enthalpy of combustion of hexacyclic exo, exo-dihydrodinorbornadiene, hexacyclic endo,endo-dihydrodinorbornadiene and exo- tetrahydrodicyclopentadiene are in progress. Vapor pressure measurements were made on exo-tetrahydrodicyclopentadiene. Synthesis and purification of alkylindans and alkylnaphthalenes with high steric interactions continue at Oklahoma State University. (Author)
