Development of a Department of Defense Manpower Management Information System.

Abstract

This report describes the development of a prototype Manpower Management Information System within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). It describes major modification development to produce linkage capabilities among independent, Service-specific, computerized data bases permitting data displays of wide aggregation. It provides the ability to compare missions, mission to function and function to skill level within the DoD. (Author)
