The Design of Mass Spectrometer Assemblies for Space Shuttle Launched Satellites.

Abstract

This report discusses the development of instrumentation to be flown on satellites which will be launched from the space shuttle. The instrument is a quadrupole Mass Spectrometer designed to measure preselected masses in the 1 AMU to 50 AMU region. A discussion of the various circuits will be included in this report along with a complete set of Schematics and Drawings. (Author)
