The Influence of Chemistry and Various Fabrication Parameters on the Properties of Tungsten Heavy Metals.

Abstract

The aim of this project is to improve tungsten heavy metals, particularly with regard to their ductility, porosity and density. The emphasis of the two-year program is to investigate the influence of the heavy metal composition (W content, binder composition) and the chemical purity of raw materials on the properties of heavy metals. In addition, particular attention is given to the influence of the fabrication conditions on the quality of the product. (Author)
