A General Procedure for Obtaining Velocity Vector from a System of High Response Impact Pressure Probes.

Abstract

A technique to measure a high frequency, repetitively pulsating flow field is presented. Two impact tube probes and a Kiel probe, all with pressure transducers mounted in thier tips are used. Five readings are required to identify a velocity vector at a point. In this report the technique, the numerical procedure and the computer program used are described. (Author)
