Preparation of Polymers Using Metal-Carbenes.

Abstract

Metal-carbenes initiate the polymerizations of cycloalkenes to polyalkenamers that are stereoselectively cis, cyclic trisubstituted olefins to polymers that are translationally invariant, and acetylenes to polyacetylenes. Some implications are described. (Author)
