A Rapid Chemical Analysis of the Ingredients of NOL-130 Primer Mix

Abstract

A method has been developed for the rapid chemical analysis for the ingredients of NOL-130 primer mix, utilizing Differential pulse polarography. The sample is dissolved in a hydrochloric acid solution and is injected directly into an electrolyte solution and polarographed without any additional separation or handling. Lead styphnate, lead azide, tetracene, and antimony sulfide can be analyzed directly, barium nitrate is obtained by difference. The NOL-130 can be analyzed in 30 minutes.
