Fort Jackson, a Preventive Approach to Family Life Ministry in a Military Community.

Abstract

A study exploring a theoretical basis for a military program of family life ministry which includes: (1) a biblical, theological, and historical foundation for Christian ministry to families, (2) a bio-psycho-social foundation for a developmental view of family life, (3) a process view of family systems applying the principles of adult socialization, (4) and two model family life programs developed from the aforementioned theoretical base, anticipatory family life ministry to phase specific developmental crises.
