Characteristics of Die Spacer Materials.

Abstract

Three commerical die spacer materials were evaluated. A die spacer material should provide even smooth coats, should be resistant to abrasion and heat, and should obliterate minor surface defects. None of the tested materials were able to fulfill all criteria well. Drawbacks of the materials and the die spacer techniques were covered. (Author)
