Workshop on Deep-Towed, Low Frequency Acoustic Sources and Receivers, Held at Bay St. Louis, Mississippi May 25 and 26, 1978.

Abstract

The two principal objectives of this workshop were: 1. To clarify what useful acoustic and geologic information can be obtained by deep-towed sources and receivers that cannot be obtained by conventional methods. 2. To review the state of the art in deep-towed sources and receivers and to pinpoint those areas of technology that need development in order to achieve those objectives. (Author)
