Analysis of Multimode Fiber Couplers, Tapers and Mode Converters.

Abstract

This is a final report on the analysis of multimode fiber couplers, tapers and mode converters. A method based on the fast Fourier transform technique of scalar wave equation has been successfully developed to yield numerical results on a number of practical multimode fiber components. Included in this report are listings of the computer programs. (Author)
