A Guide to Resources and Sources of Information for Acquisition Research

Abstract

The Acquisition Research Guide supersedes two Procurement Research Guides PRG-1 and -2 which were published in 1975. The Guide is intended for those personnel engaged in acquisition research or those who conduct staff studies in support of acquisition or contracting activities. It identifies organizations - Federal and non-Federal - who perform acquistion research. It explains how to make best use of the Defense Logistics Studies Information Exchange (DLSIE). Finally, it identifies many sources of data and information which are available to the acquisition researcher.
