Propulsion and Energetics Panel Working Group 11 on Aircraft Fire Safety. Volume 2. Main Report

Abstract

In 1976, the Propulsion and Energetics Panel of AGARD set up its Working Group 11 on 'Aircraft Fire Safety'. The findings and recommendations of Working Group 11 are collected in this Executive Summary which forms Volume 1 of the final Advisory Report of the Working Group. Volume 2 of the same publication contains the full report of the Working Group. Besides the various recommendations on technical and operational subjects a strong proposal is included for an international cooperative effort in the field of aircraft fire safety.
