Acoustically Scanned Optical Imaging Devices

Abstract

Broadband ZnO on Si acoustic surface wave devices with a 40 MHz bandwidth has been demonstrated by making use of a new highly flexible iterative technique for the design of broadband matching networks. The first ZnO on Si Schottky diode correlator has also been demonstrated. Work proceeds on ZnO magnetron sputtering processes, with some problems due to badly oriented gold. These have been cured.
