Prospects for Expanded U.S.-USSR Licensing Activity.

Abstract

This technical note provides an analysis of international licensing agreements in general and those between the United States and the Soviet Union in particular. The study devotes attention to three aspects of licensing: (1) the characteristics of licenses and licensing activity in general; (2) the status of licensing activity between the United States and the Soviet Union; and (3) the prospects for expanded licensing activity between the United States and the Soviet Union.
