Recruiters, Advertising, and Navy Enlistments.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effects on Navy high school graduate enlistments of various factors, including recruiters, advertising, unemployment rates, and others. Effects are measured using regression analysis with quarterly data from 1971 to 1977. The study should be of interest to those concerned with the problem of military manpower procurement, and to those interested in measuring the effects of advertising. (Author)
