Software Quality Assurance, One of the Software Acquisition Engineering Guidebook Series

Abstract

This report is one of a series of guidebooks whose purpose is to assist Air Force Program Office Personnel and other USAF acquisition engineers in the acquisition engineering of software for Automatic Test Equipment and Training Simulators. This guidebook describes acquisition engineering and contractor tasks associated with quality assurance and control of software. It provides a practical guide to controlling software life cycle costs through quality assurance.
