DIGIT: The Curve Digitizing Subsystem of the Interactive Data Display System.

Abstract

DIGIT is a high-performance interactive graphics program for use in extracting numerical data values (x,y-coordinates) from plots and drawings. It is a subsystem of the Interactive Data Display System (IDDS). In order to digitize, the user needs not only the program but also a digitizing tablet. IDDS, including DIGIT, is designed to run quickly and efficiently. Speed is obtained by minimizing the number of prompts.
