Performance of Industrial TV Cameras in the Navy Physical Security Program.

Abstract

A summary of technical work resulting from the purchase and maintenance of TV cameras for Navy Physical Security use. The camera image conversion requirements deemed necessary for the application are stated in the procurement specification. The image analysis incoming inspection tests that were developed to monitor performance of production cameras are discussed. Technical improvements resulting from this work and the performance deficiencies still encountered give an overview of industrial TV cameras used in a demanding application. (Author)
