On the Singularity Expansion Method Applied to Aperture Penetration. Part I. Theory.

Abstract

A formulation for determining the electromagnetic field penetration through a circular aperture is developed using Babinet's principle and the singularity expansion method. Computational procedures for determining the penetration field of the aperture are discussed and a low frequency check of the procedures is proffered. (Author)
