Double-Ended Backward-Wave Yagi Hybrid Antenna

Abstract

A structurally simple antenna configuration, which offers lower sidelobe levels than a conventional Yagi, is described. The antenna combines a backward-wave excited array with a Yagi parasitically excited array of dipoles.
