A Method for Computing the Flame Speed or a Laminar, Premixed, One Dimensional Flame.

Abstract

A method of numerically solving the equations for a one-dimensional, premixed, laminar, steady state flame that propagates into an unbounded medium is described. Particular attention is given to the description of an adaptive grid, which concentrates gridpoints within the flame front. (Author)
