Molecular Beam Studies of Low Energy Reactions.

Abstract

A summary of research performed under ONR Contract No. N00014-74-C-0011 is given. The contract covered the period 1 Sept. 1973-31 Jan. 1980. The report describes merging and crossed-beams studies of chemi-ionization and/or ion-molecule reactions. Included are investigations of the Ne(plus) -Ar, Ne(plus) -Kr, Ne(plus) -Xe, He(plus) -D, Ar(plus) -Na, He(plus) -He(plus), He(plus) -Ne(plus), Ar(plus) -Kr(plus), and He(plus) -Ne(plus) systems.
