Simplified Determination of Retardation for Kinetic Energy Projectiles.

Abstract

Correspondence between experimental and analytical determinations of retardation is demonstrated for a particular flight projectile. The predictive model requires only the projectile physical dimensions and mass and presumes a linear drag coefficient characteristic.
