Volunteer Roadmaps Update. Volume I. Findings.

Abstract

Recent trends in the geographical distribution of Non-Prior Service accession results are displayed and evaluated in this report. Trends are addressed for a number of subsets of total DoD NPS accessions: Male versus Female; Black versus all races, High School Graduates versus total accessions; Mental Group I and II, III, and IV versus total accessions and service versus service. Population trends are compared with accession trends and trends in monthly level loading are also discussed in the report. The study concludes that a number of these trends may indicate the existence of current or future problems in recruiting.
