A Comprehensive Study of the Tocks Island Lake Project and Alternatives. Part D. Institutional Alternatives.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to help decision makers determine future water resource needs of the Delaware River Basin area and ways of meeting these needs. This report undertaken in 1975 for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers by an independent consultant firm describes the evaluation of the modification of the water regime of the 1954 Supreme Court Decree on the principles applied in adjudicating disputes between states over waters of interstate streams. Chapters are also devoted to the analysis and comparison of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area with and without a lake, project deauthorization, deferral, and evaluation of institutional alternatives.
