Electron Spectroscopic Studies of Surfaces and Interfaces for Adhesive Bonding.

Abstract

This report summarizes the results from a thirty-one month research effort conducted to study the interaction of simple organic molecules on aluminum and titanium surfaces prepared for adhesive bonding using electron spectroscopic techniques. Other electron spectroscopic studies of specimens related to the surface phenomena program are also reported. (Author)
