Evaluation of Commercially Available Buoyancy Compensators.

Abstract

The Navy Experimental Diving Unit evaluated methods of inflation and performance characteristics of fourteen commercially available buoyancy compensators for use with standard scuba. As a result of manned and unmanned testing, five buoyancy compensators were found to be preferred for use by Navy divers. (Author)
