Fuzzy Preference Method for Defining Group Preferences.

Abstract

This paper presents a 'fuzzy preference' method of defining 'group preference' among alternatives based on the individuals' preferences. Group strengths of preference are also defined on the basis of individual strengths. An example and the results of four experiments are presented for the fuzzy preference method. Brief discussions are given of definitions and extensions in fuzzy set theory. (Author)
