Evaluation of Data Management for Installation Restoration.

Abstract

An external evaluation of the Data Management Program for the Operations of the Installation Restoration program is presented. Specific recommendations are made for the improvement of the Data Management Program. These recommendations cover management of the data log books, extra data fields to input error estimates, data, and free-form comments, system input stability, and required data sampling plans. In addition, a review of contaminant models is presented. Finally, a weakness in the quality control is presented, and a management information system is discussed. (Author)
