Data Generation Computer Programs for Shell Finite Elements.

Abstract

A series of computer programs written in ICL 1900 series FORTRAN is presented to generate data for the finite element analysis of shells, with particular reference to spherical surfaces. The programs are appropriate to a version of the SEMILOOF element contained in an RAE Structures Department program and to TRIA3 and QUAD4 elements which are available in a NASTRAN package. Both descriptions and listings of the programs are given. (Author)
