Photoassisted Synthesis of Mixed-Metal Clusters;(PPN)(CoOs3(CO)13), H2RuOs3(CO13, and H2FeOs3(CO)13.

Abstract

The utility of photochemical methods for the directed synthesis of mixed-metal clusters has been explored. The condensation of a carbonylmetallate with a closed metal carbonyl trimer has been demonstrated to be a valuable method for the preparation of mixed-metal clusters.
