Technical Evaluation Report on the Propulsion and Energetics Panel 54th (B) Meeting on Combustor Modelling.

Abstract

The task of this report is to evaluate the AGARD Propulsion and Energetics Panel 54th (B) Specialists' Meeting on Combustor Modelling, which was held at DFVLR, Cologne, Germany, from 3 to 5 October 1979. After a short introduction, the meeting papers are classified into a lot of categories concerning model elements, dimensionality, survey type, application and theoretical development. The first evaluation follows this classification, while other evaluations are related to the manufacturer's and the researcher's point of view. The report is finalized with conclusions and recommendations for future treatment of combustor modelling. The full papers of the Proceedings are published as AGARD Conference Proceedings No. 275. This Advisory Report was prepared at the request of the Propulsion and Energetics Panel of AGARD. (Author)
