Development of Consistent Natural Environment Parameter Sets for Combatant Capability Assessment (CCA).

Abstract

In order to design and model some combat systems, it may be necessary to consider joint distributions of two or more natural environment parameters. This can be accomplished by simultaneous sampling of various natural environment parameters. A major part of the investigation reported herein is the development of wind generated significant wave height as a function of latitude for the Northern Hemisphere, however, a joint sampling of other surface and atmospheric parameters is also included.
