Which Reconstruction Results are Significant?

Abstract

One of the most famous unsolved problems in graph theory is the Reconstruction Conjecture, formulated nearly forty years ago by P. J. Kelly and/or S. M. Ulam. Well over one hundred papers have been written on the conjecture, including excellent survey articles by Bondy and Hemminger (1) and by Nash-Williams (10). (Author)
