Radiofrequency Radiation and Living Tissue: Theoretical Studies.

Abstract

Basic mechanisms whereby radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation can interact with living tissue were investigated. An elementary statistical physics model of tissue, viewed as a chemical mixture, was considered, followed by a nonquantum physics analysis of macromolecular motion in an electromagnetic field. These studies of basic mechanisms suggest that radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation may be important in its effect on living tissue without causing significant tissue-temperature rises. (Author)
