MK 12 SSDS Helmet Adjustable Exhaust Valve Assembly Evaluation.

Abstract

Failure of the tempered spring stop pin in the helmet adjustable exhaust valve assembly of the Mk 12 SSDS has required further evaluation of existing and proposed exhaust valve configurations. Test results indicate the adoption of recommended retrofit and design change proposals. (Author)
