Human Engineering Design Criteria for Modern Control/Display Components and Standard Parts.

Abstract

A study was conducted to identify requirements for modification of MIL-STD-1472B to include human engineering design criteria for modern controls and displays; and to reduce the incidence of requests for waiver of MIL-STD-1472 resulting from unavailability of standard parts. Recommended changes are presented with rationales and references. (Author)
