A High Resolution Integrated Combat and Logistics Model (STAR-LOG).

Abstract

This thesis presents a design for a simulation of the ammunition and fuel combat service support activities that are an integral function of a U.S. brigade battle. The model expands the existing Simulation of Tactical Alternative Responses (STAR) model to simulate the combat leader's logistical decision logic from the vehicle to the battalion commander and the actions of the support facilities within the brigade area. The program design is executed in the Software Design and Documentation Language (SDDL) which produces an output that closely resembles SIMSCRIPT source code in format and structure. (Author)
