Image Understanding Using Overlays

Abstract

This project is concerned with the study of advanced techniques for the analysis of reconnaissance imagery. The current project is concerned with the development and application of advanced techniques for image processing, feature detection, segmentation, texture and shape analysis, and region representation. (The overlays in the project title refer to region representations which specify background areas or possible object locations.)
