Abstract
The report is organized in two parts. The first part summarizes the IR&D work of the Research Center, which is the Division of the Laboratory devoted primary to long-term scientific research. The second part summarizes the IR&D activities carried out in other, generally more applications-oriented, groups of the Laboratory.
