Piping Inelastic Fracture Mechanics Analysis.

Abstract

Available experimental data and the analytical methods for predicting rupture of LWR piping are assembled and assessed. The analytical techniques investigated can be catalogued into three major groups: structural response, semiempirical methods, and the J-controlled growth approach. A leak-before-break condition is also investigated. (Author)
